Green Landscape Experts (GLE) is a Langley-based company specializing in landscape installation and maintenance for municipalities, First Nations communities, and developers across Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.

I collaborated with GLE’s owner and CEO, Geoff, and his associate, Ron, to create a video that highlights what makes GLE unique in the landscaping industry and showcases their brand identity. To capture their story, I filmed an interview with Geoff and visited several project sites—some completed and others still in progress—to gather the footage we needed.

As Geoff and I traveled between locations, his passion for the environment and commitment to working with First Nations stakeholders became clear. One of the most fascinating sites we visited was an estuary that, at first glance, appeared entirely natural—but was actually manmade. Carefully designed to work with river tides and seasonal changes, it was engineered to create an ideal habitat for native fish and other species.

I hope more businesses adopt the same approach as Geoff and GLE—planning for seven generations ahead and taking pride in habitat restoration and green infrastructure improvements that we pass by every day, often unaware of the thought and care put into designing them in harmony with nature.
